Privacy notice
What we collect when you contact Kishon Safaris, why we collect it, who else handles it, and how to ask us to see, correct or delete it. We follow Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.
Who we are
Kishon Safaris is a safari planning business based in Nairobi, Kenya. We decide how the details you send us are used, which makes us the data controller under the Act. To reach us about privacy, message us on WhatsApp at +254 721 841 868 or use the inquiry form on this site.
What we collect

This site has no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics. It saves one setting in your browser so the privacy strip doesn’t reappear after you dismiss it.
Why we use it
- To answer your inquiry and send itineraries and quotes. We rely on your consent, which you give by contacting us.
- To book and run your trip once you decide to go. This is needed to carry out our agreement with you.
- To keep records that tax and tourism law require.
We don’t sell your details, and we don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who else handles it
- Web3Forms delivers form messages to our email inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep it secure.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr serve the site’s fonts and animation library, so your browser connects to them when a page loads.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries the conversation when you message us there.
- When you book, we share what each supplier needs, such as camps, airlines and the Kenya Wildlife Service, and nothing more.
Some of these services store data outside Kenya. We use them only where they protect personal data to a standard the Act accepts.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that don’t turn into a trip are deleted within 12 months. Booking records are kept for as long as Kenyan tax and accounting law requires, then deleted.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you and send you a copy
- correct anything that’s wrong
- delete your details, unless the law requires us to keep them
- stop using your details, or withdraw the consent you gave
Message us on WhatsApp to ask. We’ll reply within 14 days. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning trips. We collect children’s details only when a parent or guardian books them on a trip.
Changes
If we change how we handle your details, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
